company
You’re in good
The word “company” comes from the Latin words com, meaning “together,” and panis, meaning “bread.”
That’s so special to me, and it has a double meaning for us who find Christ in the communal breaking of bread.
Why the ‘and Company’ branding? Well, first, because you’re here!
Secondly, because I love to have the characters of the Scripture and scholars across the Church as dialogue partners.
And, ultimately, it reminds us that God is with us and we are never ever alone.
I love that the word “company” evokes cozy memories of folks coming over in days gone by. Breaking out the good china. Serving a special treat. Getting the house fancied up. Putting on a pot of coffee. What you do when company is coming.
“Company" evokes cozy hospitality, conjuring images of gathering around a table with friends and family, sharing stories and laughter. It embodies the essence of togetherness, where the simple act of being in the presence of others transforms an invitation into a belonging. A welcoming atmosphere is created, and so forms a community. Time, food, and hearts are shared.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
